Halilu` MacCido

Halilu Maccido is an experienced professional with a diverse background in compliance monitoring, scientific research, and financial services. Currently serving as a Manager in the Compliance Monitoring & Enforcement Department at the Nigerian Communications Commission since May 2018, Halilu also holds the position of Principal Scientific Officer at the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) since October 2016. Prior to these roles, Halilu worked as a Credit and Marketing Officer at Diamond Bank Plc from February 2007 to October 2016 and gained expertise as a GIS Specialist during a tenure at Sheffield Hallam University from January 2013 to May 2014. Halilu's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from Sheffield Hallam University (2013-2014), an Oracle 10g certification from NIIT, Nigeria (2004-2005), and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (2000-2004). Early education was completed at Capital Primary School, Sokoto (1989-1994).
