Igor O. Kostiuk

Igor O. Kostiuk is a PhD candidate at Nikhef, focusing on the search for long-lived particles and involved in the Vertex Locator Upgrade and data-filtering project. Experience includes serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, supervising students and assisting in courses related to advanced electrodynamics and programming. Previous engineering roles at the Institute for Nuclear Research NASU involved studying proton-nucleus collisions and utilizing Timepix for interference phenomena research. Igor holds a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and has completed a Master's and Bachelor's in the same field from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, along with various language qualifications.
