Christoph Wangenheim

Christoph Wangenheim has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies and roles. Christoph currently holds the position of Head of Additive Material Products & Development at SLM Solutions, a role they have been in since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Additive Materials Design & Simulation at SLM Solutions from June 2021 to October 2022. Before joining SLM Solutions, Christoph worked at Baker Hughes, where they held various managerial positions, including Manager Additive Technologies from September 2016 to September 2021, Manager Manufacturing Innovation from November 2014 to August 2016, Supervisor Manufacturing Engineering Process Technology from April 2014 to October 2014, and Manufacturing Engineer Process Technology from October 2008 to March 2014. Christoph also gained internship experience at Volkswagen AG from November 2007 to March 2008 and at Volvo Aero Norge from April 2005 to July 2005. Additionally, Christoph worked as a Studentische Hilfskraft at IFW - Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools from December 2004 to March 2008.

Christoph Wangenheim attended Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2002 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Diplom-Ingenieur in the field of Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering). In 2007, they also briefly studied at Keio University, focusing on Maschinenbau.
