Mark Bachner

Mark Bachner has a diverse work experience in various engineering and manufacturing roles. Mark is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Manufacturing Engineering at Nilfisk, starting in January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Site Operations at Nilfisk starting in December 2018.

Before joining Nilfisk, Bachner worked as the Principal at Bachner Consulting LLC from March 2013 to September 2018. Mark provided consulting services to manufacturing and supply chain entities, specializing in areas such as Safety, Environmental, Lean Manufacturing, Site Selection, Due Diligence, and Industrial Engineering.

Bachner also gained experience in manufacturing leadership roles at bedgear Performance Bedding, Sun Fiber LLC, and American Textile Company, where they served as Vice President of Manufacturing, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Senior Vice President of Operations respectively.

Earlier in their career, they held the position of Vice President of Global Operations at Little Tikes from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, Bachner served as Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing at Precision Composites and Plastics Research.

Mark began their career as an Industrial Safety Engineer at Rubbermaid Commercial Products in 1989. Bachner holds a wealth of experience in the engineering and manufacturing field, with expertise in various areas including operations, manufacturing engineering, and lean manufacturing.

Mark Bachner obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University from 1983 to 1987. Mark later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing from the University of Phoenix, attending from 2003 to 2006. Prior to their university education, Mark attended Thomas Jefferson High School from 1979 to 1983. Furthermore, they obtained the certification of Ambassador of Economic Development from the State of South Carolina in 2014.
