Dave McMillan

Dave McMillan has extensive work experience in production and management roles within the audio and video industry. Dave began their career at itv|world as a Video Producer, where they created and delivered online videos for various portals. Dave then moved on to Nine and Fairfax Media, where they held the position of Head of Production, Audio and Video. In this role, they managed nationwide video operations and collaborated with editorial teams on content strategy and development. At Fairfax Media, they also took on the role of Acting Head of Video, overseeing a team of 36 people and leading them through a period of restructuring and strategic development. Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on maintaining and improving video production systems.

Dave McMillan completed a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art with a focus on Video and Photography from UNSW between 1988 and 1990. Dave then pursued a Graduate Diploma in Media Studies with a specialization in Film and Television Production at Edith Cowan University from 1996 to 1997.
