Tory Maguire

Tory Maguire is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in publishing and editorial leadership. Since April 2018, Tory has served as the Managing Director of Publishing at Nine, overseeing major publications such as The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times, and WA Today. Additionally, Tory is a founding committee member of the Australian chapter of the Online News Association. Prior to this, Tory launched the Australian edition of The Huffington Post as Editor in Chief from June 2015 to December 2017. Tory's journalism career spans over 15 years, including roles at News Corp Australia, where Tory held positions such as National Opinion Editor and Editor of The Punch. Tory holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts from Southern Cross University and completed a program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2021.
