Strategic Sales Account Manager
Location: New York City: (Hybrid Role 4 Days in Office)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Strategic Sales Account Manager to join our growing team to manage existing client relationships of our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate cultivates new relationships and helps existing one’s flourish. In this role you will identify potential targets, assess opportunities, and shepherd deals from inception to close. You have experience working with complex enterprises and navigating their network to identify key points of contact and pursue procurement paths for our products. This role will partner with teams such as Marketing, Technology, Customer Success and Sales, to deliver value that directly contributes to revenue and the success of our company.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage existing client relationship with Financial Institutions both technical and commercial stakeholders, with a proven track record of expanding existing client relationships
· Network and ensure we are connecting with the right individuals
· Communicate regularly with existing clients to raise awareness of products and identify growth opportunities
· Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and prescriptive manner
· Respond to functional questions via email, leveraging existing assets/guides and contributing to building additional resources
· Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Technology and Leadership team members daily to surface relevant customer insights and feedback.
· Exude a passion for Ninth Wave as a solution to support Open Banking and Open Finance securely
Requirements
· Five (5+) years of experience selling into Financial Institutions, preferably in an entrepreneurial SaaS environment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
· Enjoys data analysis and identifying trends across a customer to drive strategy and improvements
· Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to handle a large volume of customers
· Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize common business problems and suggest solutions
· Passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn new SaaS software applications.
· A positive attitude and ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to optimize for company outcomes
· Experience in a start-up/high-growth firm preferred
· Ability to travel up to 20%
