Brian Shirai

Brian Shirai is a Compiler Engineer at Niobium Microsystems, where Brian builds a compiler toolchain for fully-homomorphic encryption applications on custom hardware. Previously, Brian worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Liscio and Symbiont, leading teams in developing various software projects. Brian has a wealth of experience in software engineering, architecture, and management across different companies such as Weedmaps, FocusVision, and Enova International. Brian was also involved in open-source projects like Rubinius as a Rubinius Developer at Engine Yard. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Portland State University.
