Jamie Goodman

Jamie Goodman is a PhD student at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, focusing on microbial ecology and geochemistry of marine sediments, particularly nitrous oxide consumption, since May 2021. Prior to this role, Jamie served as a research assistant at California State University, Northridge, and worked as a senior extraction technician at PerkinElmer, Inc., contributing to clinical COVID lab testing by performing RNA extractions and maintaining automated equipment. Early career experiences include multimedia coordination at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, media production for SpaceRip, and various production roles in notable film and television projects, including the Tribeca Film Festival and "Top Chef." Jamie holds a Master's degree in Biology from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor's degree in Radio/TV/Film from Northwestern University.
