Bogdan Popovici

Bogdan Popovici is an accomplished researcher with a focus on elementary particle physics, currently serving as an Associate Researcher at the University of Bucharest since January 2015, where contributions to science communication and outreach programs are primarily in collaboration with the Faculty of Physics. Additionally, Bogdan is a researcher at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering, involved in the LHCb-Ro collaboration. Previously, as a Physicist for the Large Hadron Collider Beauty Experiment (LHCb) from June 2007 to 2017, responsibilities included data analysis, visualization coding, and statistical interpretation within the fields of the Standard Model of elementary particles and Quantum Chromodynamics. Bogdan's academic background includes a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics from the University of Bucharest (2007-2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution (1997-2002).
