Mateusz Olszewski

Scientist at NIRvana Sciences

Mateusz Olszewski has worked in the field of polymer chemistry since 2014. Mateusz began as an intern at SABIC, where they conducted research on polymer surfaces and performed various syntheses of modified monomers. In 2016, they completed an internship at the Polish Academy of Sciences, where they performed ATRP polymerization reactions of widely utilized monomers and developed suitable conditions for performing controlled radical polymerization of challenging monomers. From 2017 to 2022, Mateusz worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, helping undergraduate students in laboratory environment, guiding their projects, and interpreting results. Currently, they are a Scientist at NIRvana Sciences.

Mateusz Olszewski is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University, which they began in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from Jagiellonian University in 2017, and a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology from Jagiellonian University in 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Master in Dynamic Light Scattering certification from Wyatt Technology in December 2019.
