Nenad Novakovic

Nenad Novakovic has several years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Nenad currently works as the Head of Drilling and Workover Optimization at NIS Gazprom Neft since June 2019. Prior to this role, they served as a Drilling and Workover Supervisor at Kuwait Oil Company from March 2015 to May 2019. Nenad also worked at PetroKazakhstan as a Drilling Supervisor from July 2013 to February 2015. Nenad started their career at NIS a.d. in 2005, where they held the positions of Drilling Consultant from May 2009 to June 2013 and Field Drilling Engineer from November 2005 to April 2009.

Nenad Novakovic completed their education at the University of Belgrade, where they obtained a M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from 1995 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended the First Belgrade Grammar School from 1991 to 1994, focusing on Natural Sciences. In addition to their formal education, Nenad Novakovic has also obtained certifications in various specialized areas. In 2017, they completed the IWCF Drilling Well Control Programme Surface BOP Stack Level 4 at Well Training & Finance Ltd. In 2008, they received certifications in Safety at Sea, First Aid and Fire Prevention from the Marine Training School.
