Heidie Cotey

Heidie Cotey, CIA, CISA serves as the VP & Chief Audit Officer at NiSource since August 2020, bringing extensive experience in internal audit and risk management. Prior to NiSource, Cotey was the Chief Audit Executive at Black Hills Energy from April 2013 to July 2020 and previously held several roles at CommScope, including Director and Manager of Corporate Internal Audit from November 2006 to February 2013. Cotey also worked as an Internal Audit Manager at Altria for Kraft Foods North America and held various positions such as Accounting Manager and Auditor at ExxonMobil from 1994 to 2002. Cotey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University.
