Malav Parekh

Malav Parekh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Malav currently holds the position of Sr. Technical Lead at Nisum since August 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Tech Lead 1 at Nisum from January 2019 to August 2021. Before joining Nisum, Malav worked at Servion Global Solutions as a Sr. Automation Engineer from April 2016 to March 2017. During their time at Servion, they were responsible for eliciting requirements about the Automation Framework, task assignment, automation script review, and implementing the Automation Framework from scratch. Malav also has extensive experience at Cybage, where they held various roles including Sr. QA Analyst from April 2013 to November 2015, QA Analyst from October 2010 to March 2013, Sr. QA Engineer from April 2009 to September 2010, and QA Engineer from July 2008 to March 2009. At Cybage, their responsibilities included leading a team of QA team members, being accountable for all deliverables from planning to release, and playing the role of a SCRUM Master for a line of product. Prior to Cybage, Malav worked at eInfochips Ltd. as a QA Engineer from January 2006 to June 2008. In this role, they participated in requirement and design discussions, conducted test planning and test design, and reviewed test cases.

Malav Parekh completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Gujarat University, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Malav pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications from the same university from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in December 2020, including Bystander Training: From Bystander to Upstander, Communicating Across Cultures, Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues, Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Skills for Inclusive Conversations, and Unconscious Bias.
