Dr. V Suresh Babu

Dr. V Suresh Babu has a strong background in academia, with over 20 years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. V currently holds the position of Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at N I T Warangal, a role they have held since March 2018. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Professor at N I T Warangal starting from July 2011. Before joining N I T Warangal, Dr. Babu served as a Lecturer at the same institution from 1999 to 2011. Dr. V started their teaching career at Amrita University, Coimbatore as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering from July 1997 to March 1999.

Dr. V Suresh Babu obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Fault Diagnosis from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 2005 to 2012. Prior to their Ph.D., they completed their Master's Degree in Design of Mechanical Equipment from the same institute, from 1995 to 1996. Dr. V earned their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, from 1991 to 1995. Earlier in their education, they obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the State Board of Technology & Training, from 1987 to 1990. Lastly, they completed their higher education at St. Joseph's English School, where they received their X certification between 1975 and 1985.
