Noel Amoit

Noel Amoit has a diverse work experience in the field of grant management and program implementation. Noel is currently working as a Program Manager for Grant Implementation at Nithio since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Lead of Portfolio Management at Kenya Climate Ventures from September 2020 to January 2023.

Noel also has experience working at AECF, where they held the role of Program Manager from January 2018 to August 2020. Noel was responsible for managing the REACT SSA regional fund, which aimed to accelerate access to renewable energy products in Sub Saharan Africa countries. In addition, they briefly served as the Acting Sector Team Lead for REACT in February 2020 to April 2020.

Before joining AECF, Noel worked at KPMG as a Grants Manager from January 2015 to May 2017. Noel led a team in managing a grants portfolio for private sector companies and provided grants management support to the Global Resilience Partnership program.

Prior to their role at KPMG, Noel worked as a Senior Grants Associate at KPMG Kenya from September 2012 to December 2014. Noel started their career as an Audit Associate at PKF from November 2010 to August 2012.

Noel Amoit has a Master's Degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi, which was obtained from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, Noel completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nairobi from 2006 to 2010. In addition to these degrees, Noel also holds certification as a Certified Expert in Climate & Renewable Energy Financing from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, which was obtained in April 2021. Furthermore, Noel is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certified by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), although the specific month and year of certification are not provided.
