Sambuddha Goswami

Sambuddha Goswami has a range of work experience in various organizations. Sambuddha is currently working as a Senior Research Officer at NITI Aayog since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager (Data Science and Analytics) at Genpact from August 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they were a Data Scientist Consultant at American Express from May 2019 to July 2020. In addition, Sambuddha worked as a Research Associate with Dr. Uma Lele from May 2009 to April 2019, where they published numerous articles and reports and conducted statistical and econometric analyses. Sambuddha also worked as a Consultant at the World Bank Group and FAO, where they conducted data-driven policy analysis and provided policy advice.

Sambuddha Goswami holds a Master's degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, which they completed from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Jadavpur University between 2004 and 2007. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, such as Generative AI Fundamentals from Databricks in September 2023, Certified Data Scientist from AnalytixLabs in 2019, and Green Belt Trained and Tested from Genpact in 2021. Sambuddha has also completed several courses and certifications related to AI, Python, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Azure, and Tableau from institutions like GUVI, Great Learning, and Simplilearn.
