Miroslav Metruk

Miroslav Metruk is an experienced engineering software manager with a strong background in automation software development. Currently at NITREX since March 2022, Metruk leads project planning and execution while contributing to both cloud and on-premise software applications. Metruk has held various positions in software development, including roles at Andritz Maerz GmbH focusing on Level 2 Systems and at Tenova LOI Thermprocess GmbH, where Java-based automation software was developed. As the founder of METRUK, s. r. o., and a former software architect at United Process Controls, Metruk has extensive experience in multiple programming languages and systems. Metruk's career began with positions at Siemens VAI Metals Technologies, NETINFODATA, and FORTE, where leadership and technical skills were honed, culminating in a Master’s degree in Informatics and Software Engineering from the University of Zilina.
