Shahzahan Mia

Shahzahan Mia, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist I at Nitto Denko Technical Corporation since May 2020, bringing a strong background in materials chemistry. Previously, Shahzahan served as a Research Assistant at The University of South Dakota from August 2015 to May 2020, also engaging in a research internship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in late 2019, focusing on advanced materials characterization techniques. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from the University of South Dakota, a Master’s in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and a Bachelor's in the same field, both from the University of Dhaka. Early research experience includes developing nanomaterials for industrial effluent treatment and employing various analytical techniques during a graduate researcher role at the University of Dhaka.
