Hamish Lewis

Hamish Lewis is a Climate Scientist and Data Scientist at NIWA since October 2022. Prior to this, Hamish worked as a PhD Candidate at The University of Auckland, focusing on the remote influence of large-scale meteorological variables on Tropical low-clouds. Hamish has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various physics courses and as a Research Assistant within the Physics department. Additionally, Hamish has been working as a Physics and Mathematics Tutor at MyTuition since February 2019. Hamish holds a Master of Science in Physics from The University of Auckland, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics from the University of Otago, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Maths from the University of Otago.
