Dr Ahmad al-Hiari

Visiting Research Fellow at University of Sussex

Dr Ahmad Al-Hiari, FRSA, FIoL, CIHCM, CMBE, is a Lecturer in Leadership and Management at De Montfort University since November 2021, where responsibilities include teaching courses on Leadership, Ethics, Sustainability, Social Responsibility, and Organizational Development. Additionally, Dr Al-Hiari teaches Business Ethics and Supply Chain Management at the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship and has experience as a Research Assistant focused on policy research. Dr Al-Hiari also serves as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Sussex, engaging in anti-corruption policy and governance research, and teaches on the MA in Corruption and Governance. Previous roles include positions at Leicester Castle Business School and Greater Amman Municipality. Dr Al-Hiari holds a PhD in Public Sector Governance from De Montfort University, an MA in Housing, Regeneration & Urban Management from Leeds Beckett University, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from German Jordanian University.
