Juliana Ungaro is a seasoned Climate Scientist currently working at NIWA since July 2016, where notable achievements include managing the New Zealand Climate Change Adaptation Toolkit and serving as a Climate Change Programme Officer for the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Prior experience includes serving as a Climate Change Adviser for a €11.4 million European Union project across nine Pacific Island nations and holding roles at ISLAND ECONOMIC & ENVIRONMENTAL CO., where Juliana was involved in grant writing and renewable energy project implementation.
