Ryan Willoughby

Ryan Willoughby is currently the Communications Lead - Ocean Science at NIWA, providing strategic communications support for the Marine Science Platform. Prior to this, Ryan held positions as a Senior Communications Advisor at GNS Science, Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Health New Zealand, and Public Information Manager for the COVID-19 Response Team at ESR. With a Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations from Massey University, Ryan has extensive experience in communications roles across various organizations such as Massey University, Horizons Regional Council, and Sport Manawatu.
