Tanya Simora Lesser

Tanya Simora Lesser is an accomplished educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Nixa Public Schools since August 2023. Prior to this role, Tanya gained valuable experience as a Student Teacher at Greenwood Elementary School from September 2022 to June 2023 and worked as a Child Care Teaching Aide at the University of Washington Medical Center from July 2021 to June 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining progress records, assisting with daily needs of children, and supporting curriculum planning. Tanya holds a Master of Teaching in Elementary Education from the University of Washington (June 2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Philosophy, Education, Learning, and Societies from the same institution (June 2022). Tanya's educational journey began at Puyallup High School, where a high school diploma was earned in 2019.
