Sherwin Kaplan

Sherwin Kaplan is an experienced legal professional specializing in ERISA fiduciary compliance and litigation. Kaplan has served as Counsel at Nixon Peabody since January 2009, following a position as Counsel at Thelen LLP from 2002 to 2008. Prior to this, Kaplan held significant roles at the U.S. Department of Labor, including Deputy Associate Solicitor and Attorney within the Employee Benefit Security Administration from 1976 to 1999. Kaplan earned a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
