Veronica Hawkins

Veronica Hawkins, Ph.D. has over 20 years of experience in various leadership and human resources roles. Veronica is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Nixon Medical Apparel & Linen Service Specialists. Previously, they served as the Vice President of Talent Strategies and Solutions at NFI, where they were responsible for implementing innovative talent strategies aligned with organizational goals. Prior to that, they worked at BJC HealthCare as a Sr. Organization Development Leader, leading cross-functional solutions and collaborating with key stakeholders. Veronica also served as the Director of Analytics & Organization Development at Penn State University and as a Regional Director of Operations at Luxottica Retail. Veronica has a track record of turning around underperforming districts and achieving significant growth in sales and customer satisfaction. Veronica's expertise in talent management and organization development has been honed through their roles at The Children's Place, Target, Armstrong World Industries, Penn State University, and Pathmark Stores, Inc.

Veronica Hawkins, Ph.D. has a diverse education history. Veronica first attended Penn State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations. Afterward, they pursued further education at The Graduate School at Penn State and earned a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Training and Development.

Following their M.Ed, Veronica Hawkins went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Workforce Education and Development - Team Development and Effectiveness, also at The Graduate School at Penn State.

In addition to their formal degrees, Veronica Hawkins has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills and knowledge. These certifications include a Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, a CPI 260 certification from The Myers-Briggs Company, and a certification in Developing Executive Presence from LinkedIn.
