Joonas Forsberg

Joonas Forsberg has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT services. Joonas started their career at ManpowerGroup Solutions as a Field Service Technician and later became a Field Service Engineer. Joonas then moved to NAPA, where they served as an ICT Specialist, responsible for maintaining and developing the IT environment. At Nixu Corporation, Joonas held multiple roles, including Security Specialist and Architect, where they played a key role in the design, implementation, and development of managed security services. Joonas then joined Accenture as a Security Delivery Associate Manager before returning to Nixu Corporation as a Senior Cyber Defense Architect and eventually progressing to their current position as Lead Cyber Defense Architect. Throughout their career, Joonas has worked closely with customers and internal teams to enhance cyber defense capabilities and ensure the security of core business operations.

Joonas Forsberg has a strong educational background in the field of technology and engineering. Joonas obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Software and Communications Engineering from the University of Jyväskylä, graduating between 2024 and 2028. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Cyber Security from the same university, completing their studies between 2021 and 2022. Earlier, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Information Technology from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, graduating between 2015 and 2018. Joonas has also acquired additional certifications, including GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT) from GIAC Certifications, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from (ISC)², and ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITILF) from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
