Tony Pisano

Tony Pisano has a diverse and extensive work experience in the laser technology industry. Their most recent role was as the Sr Director of Sales - Industrial/OEM at NKT Photonics, where they focused on strategic business development and key account development in the APAC and EMEA regions. Tony also managed key strategic international sales channels in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Before that, they worked as a Sales Director at NKT Photonics, where they were responsible for key account management and business development for fiber-optic sensing markets and customers globally. Tony also developed new markets and accounts in the APAC region. Prior to NKT Photonics, Tony was a Global Sales Manager at Raydiance Laser, where they developed new strategic markets and customers in the consumer electronics, display, automotive, and medical devices industries. Tony also managed international sales through selected partners. Tony also held the position of Director of Sales at RIO Lasers, now part of Luna, where they were responsible for global sales and marketing strategies for OEM and industrial accounts. Tony managed commercial sales channels in EMEA and APAC. Before that, they worked as a Sales Manager at NP Photonics, focusing on strategic North American and Pacific Rim customers in various markets. Tony started their career at Spectra-Physics as a Product Manager, where they had product management and OEM sales development responsibilities for ultrafast laser portfolio, working with large global customers. Tony gained extensive experience in manufacturing, product service, and application development. Tony also worked at Videojet as a Laser Technologist, where they set up a new R&D lab and gained experience in laser materials processing technologies. Additionally, they worked at Cernan Earth and Space Center as a Laser Show Production Staff, where they assisted in the creation of laser-based art and imagery for monthly laser show programs.

Tony Pisano attended Saint Mary's College of California, where they studied Business Management. Tony then transferred to the University of Illinois Chicago, where they pursued a Physics Major with a Philosophy Minor. In 1988, they enrolled at the University of La Verne and obtained a degree in Optical Engineering. Additionally, Tony also studied Laser Electro-Optic Technology at Triton College.
