Roberto Álvarez García

Roberto Álvarez García has extensive experience in project management and key account management. Roberto worked at NKT from 2009 to present, initially as a Project Manager in Germany and later as a Project Director in New Zealand and Indonesia. In these roles, they were responsible for managing complex projects, ensuring quality standards, and achieving customer satisfaction.

Prior to NKT, Roberto worked at Mobitel d.d. as the CTO, where they procured and implemented network infrastructure and software. Roberto also held the position of Project Coordinator at Plusnet GmbH & Co. KG, where they planned and operated a DSL data network.

Furthermore, they gained experience as a Management Trainee at Tele2, where they studied and redesigned network redundancy. Overall, Roberto has a strong background in project management, negotiation, and delivering successful outcomes.

Roberto Álvarez García obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 1996 and 1999. Roberto then pursued a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the same university between 1999 and 2004.
