Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in journalism and education. Currently serving as Program Manager at NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ Journalists since December 2021, Daniel previously held the same title at the Asian American Journalists Association from October 2015 to December 2021. Earlier career roles include English Language Instructor with the Peace Corps and Administrative Assistant at Groff-Hinman. Daniel's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in French and International Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from Paris 8 - St. Denis - Vincennes. Career experience also includes an internship at the US Embassy to France and a position as Attractions Host at The Walt Disney Company.
