Dilip Kumar Mohanty

Shri Dilip Kumar Mohanty is the Director (Production) at NMDC. A BSc. Engineering (Metallurgy) graduate from NIT Rourkela, he has a rich and varied experience of more than 33 years in managing steel plant operations. Starting his career at the Vizag Steel Plant, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited in 1987, over the years he gained the reputation of solving critical issues in Steelmaking and Project Executions. Shri Mohanty joined NMDC in 2015 as in-charge of major packages at the NMDC Iron and Steel Plant (NISP). His vision and leadership as the Chief General Manager (Operations) played an indispensable role in the development for commissioning of the prestigious Greenfield Project NISP, Nagarnar. With his strategic expertise and resource planning skills, Shri Mohanty will help NMDC achieve even greater production milestones.
