Ton Verburg

Ton Verburg has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the inspection, measurement, and industrial services industry. Ton is currently serving as the Director of Operations at NMi, Netherlands Measurement Institute. Prior to this, Ton took a sabbatical in 2021.

Before their sabbatical, Ton worked at Lloyd's Register from 2014 to 2021, holding multiple positions including Area Operations Manager North Europe, Director Lloyd's Register Netherlands, Director Joint Venture Lloyd's Register & Apave Nuclear, and Vice President Operations for North Europe, America's, and United Kingdom and Ireland. During their time at Lloyd's Register, Ton successfully managed large teams, achieved impressive financial results despite challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic, and significantly increased revenue in various regions.

Before joining Lloyd's Register, Ton worked at TUV Nord Group as the Global Director of Industrial Services from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at Applus RTD and Applus RTD Project Services. At Applus RTD, Ton served as the Regional Director for Latin America and the Business Unit Manager for Offshore. Ton successfully managed teams, expanded business capabilities in Latin America, and integrated acquisitions.

Ton's early career includes their role as the Global Operations Manager at Applus RTD Project Services, where they led the expansion of operational locations and significantly increased revenue.
