Karsin Williard is a Housing Attorney at the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) since March 2022, following a role as Pro Bono Staff Attorney with the North Carolina Bar Foundation from August 2021 to March 2022. Prior experience includes an externship with Legal Aid of North Carolina focusing on housing, and internships with the North Carolina Equal Access to Justice Commission, the University of North Carolina School of Law's Law Library, the Office of General Counsel at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the North Carolina General Assembly under Representative Rosa Gill. Karsin Williard also served as Lead Field Fellow for Aim Higher Now North Carolina. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Law and Justice Theory and a minor in Criminology from North Carolina State University.
