Bas Elisen

Bas Elisen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bas is currently the Head of HR Centre of Expertise at NN Group, where they lead a team responsible for various HR functions. Previously, they held multiple HR leadership roles at A.P. Moller - Maersk, including Regional Head of HR and Global Head of Human Resources. Bas also served as a Senior HR Business Partner and Head of HR Benelux & Switzerland. Prior to that, they worked at PostNL as an HR Manager and Senior Program Manager. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Cendris and held various HR positions at PostNL and TNT Express Benelux. Bas began their career at TNT Post in sales and marketing positions.

Bas Elisen has a diverse education history. In 1993 to 1997, Bas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Economics/Business from NHL Hogeschool. Later, in 1995 to 1997, Bas pursued a degree in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma. In 2008, Bas attended Cornell University to gain knowledge in HR Strategy. In the same year, Bas obtained a Post Graduate Award in Management and Business from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Bas continued to enhance their skills with various certifications, including a Mind Gym Trainer certification from Mind Gym in 2017 and a Predictive Index certification from The Predictive Index in 2016. In 2021, Bas attended IMD for unspecified studies. Additionally, Bas pursued training at the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and became a certified professional co-active coach in 2022. Lastly, Bas attended INSEAD in 2017 for a program called Business Strategy for HR Leaders.
