Mariek van Leeuwen

Mariek Van Leeuwen is an experienced procurement professional with a robust background in supplier relationship management and sustainable procurement. Currently serving as the Manager of the Procurement Service Unit at NN Group since August 2017, Mariek has also held roles as a Change Leader in Procurement at the Center of Excellence and focuses on Third Party Risk Management. Previous experience includes positions such as Head of Supplier Relationship Management & Contract Management at Maersk Line and Category Manager for Professional Services at Nationale-Nederlanden. Additional roles include management positions at Erasmus MC, Openbaar Ministerie, Nike, Nederlandse Mededingingsautoriteit, and The Kraft Heinz Company. Mariek holds a Drs degree in Economics from Tilburg University, earned between 1993 and 1998.
