Carsten Rasmussen

Carsten Rasmussen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operational leadership at the LEGO Group since February 2001, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer. This role includes global oversight of Manufacturing, Distribution, Supply & Demand Planning, Quality, Engineering, Facility Management, Procurement, and S&OP, while also being a member of the Executive Leadership Team and reporting directly to the Group CEO. Previous roles include Senior Vice President for Organisation Capability Building and Shopper Marketing & Channel Development, supervising a global team of over 500 employees. Carsten has held various other senior positions, including General Manager roles and Purchasing Director, contributing significantly to LEGO's operational strategies and supply chain management. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Logistics from Aarhus University and a high school diploma from Langkær Gymnasium in Aarhus, Denmark. Additionally, Carsten serves as a board member for Nobia AB and previously for Evolve Additive Solutions.
