Alan Bergin

Alan Bergin has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Alan is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Noble Foods Ltd since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at PZ Cussons as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and the Group Commercial Finance Director from June 2019 to March 2021. Alan has also held various positions at British American Tobacco, including Chief Financial Officer Caribbean and Central America, Global Head of Commercial Finance Planning & Reporting, Global Functional Controller, Regional/Area Audit Manager, Finance Projects Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions Manager, Marketing Finance Manager, and Management Accountant. Before joining British American Tobacco, Alan worked as a Graduate Trainee/Project Accountant at O2 (Telefónica UK).

Alan Bergin has a diverse education history. Alan attended St. Michael's College Dublin from 1978 to 1991, although no specific degree or field of study was specified. Alan later pursued a Bachelor of Arts in History at University College Dublin, graduating in 1994. In 1995, they furthered their education at University College Dublin by completing a Master of Arts degree in European Economic and Public Affairs. Alan went on to study at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 1996 to 1998, earning an ACMA degree in Accountancy. Seeking additional education, they enrolled at Imperial College Business School from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
