Curtis Martin

Curtis Martin is a Scientific Developer at Emerald Cloud Lab since February 2023, following a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, where research focused on post-translational modifications in prostate cancer and the development of bioinformatics pipelines. Previously, as a Visiting Scholar at Purdue University, Curtis contributed to the design of broad-spectrum antivirals against SARS-CoV-II through bioinformatics. Curtis has also served as a Research Analyst at CNA Corporation, leading a data science education program for military personnel and generating insights through data analytics. Experience at Purdue University includes a Visiting Assistant Professor role, where a data science curriculum initiative was directed, alongside work as a Graduate Research Assistant developing machine learning platforms in cancer therapy. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and dual B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from North Carolina State University, complemented by a Mathematics minor.
