Anna Kristina Sonesson

Anna Kristina Sonesson has a work experience in the field of breeding and genetics in the aquaculture industry. Anna Kristina started their career as a Senior Scientist in Aquaculture Breeding and Genetics at Nofima, where they worked until February 2022. Later, they became the Research Director of the Department of Breeding and Genetics at Nofima starting from October 2019.

Anna Kristina Sonesson completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Animal Genetics at Wageningen University & Research, which they finished in 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Animal Genetics from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, which they completed in 1997.
