Sigridur Hrefna

Sigridur Hrefna, also known as Sigga, is the Chief Executive Officer at Noi Sirius since December 2023. Previously, Sigridur held significant positions including Managing Director of Personal Banking at Íslandsbanki from June 2017 to January 2024, MD Retail at Olíuverzlun Íslands hf from September 2014 to June 2017, and Deputy MD of Markets and Investment Banking at Arion Bank from December 2011 to September 2014. Additional experience includes serving as Managing Director for the Resolution Committee at Spb hf. from June 2009 to December 2011, Senior Vice President at Straumur Investment Bank from February 2008 to June 2009, and CEO at Atlas Ejendomme a/s - Fasteignafélagið Stoðir hf. from September 2004 to February 2008. Sigridur began a career in law as an attorney at LEX Law Offices from January 2000 to September 2004. Educational achievements include an MBA from Copenhagen Business School (2010 - 2012), an Attorney at Law degree from the Icelandic Bar Association (2003), and a Cand Jur in Law from Háskóli Íslands (1997 - 2002).
