Kate Forbes

Kate Forbes has an extensive work experience in various companies. Kate started their career as a Category Analyst at Safeway in 1997, where they focused on dairy and bakery range performance analysis. Kate then joined The Co-operative Group in 1998 as a Category Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for the development of several categories and owned the private label agenda. In 2006, they worked as a Customer Marketing Manager at Uniq Prepared Foods, leading category development for M&S desserts. Kate then moved to Kerry Foods in 2007 as a Category Manager, where they managed key sales, commercial, and finance meetings. Kate joined Young's Seafood in 2009 and held multiple roles, including Senior Category Manager, Category Controller, and Category Director, working across fish and ready meals categories. In 2015, they joined Mars Petcare UK as a Category Lead. Currently, they are working at Nomad Foods as the Group Sales and Category Director. Overall, Kate Forbes has gained significant expertise in category management and has taken on leadership roles in various companies.

Kate Forbes completed their education at The University of Huddersfield. Kate obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 1995, after completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BA Hons) in 1994. Prior to that, they pursued a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business and Finance from 1991 to 1993.
