Alex Tymokhovskyi has been working in the design industry since 2013. Alex began their career as a Designer at Ogilvy & Mather. In 2014, they moved to Evergreen as a UX/UI Designer, where they established a rapid prototyping practice and contributed to strategic initiatives and process improvements. In 2016, they worked as a Senior UX Designer at both Ecodery and Astound Commerce. At Ecodery, they were the first designer and created and developed design practices. At Astound Commerce, they started and oversaw new projects, led project teams of up to 4 designers, and created hiring practices. In 2018, they moved to Star as a UX Design Lead, where they planned and executed a full-scale redesign of a B2B platform and switched to Figma to improve delivery time and collaboration. Alex also helped to improve hiring practices and actively participated in scaling the team from 20 to 35 designers in 1 year. Currently, Alex is a Senior Product Designer at Nomad Homes, where they oversee all design and user research operations while leading and mentoring the UX team. Their main focus is to organize the lean design delivery, optimizing 0-to-1 transition. Alex has also built the design system, established research practices, and led or overseen strategic product initiatives from a design perspective.

Alex Tymokhovskyi obtained a Master's degree in enlighting engineering from the National Aviation University, Kiev between 2000 and 2005. Alex also has a certification in Real-time Advertising Fundamentals from Quantcast.
