Sigurd Saue

Sigurd Saue has worked in a variety of roles since 1995. Sigurd began as a teacher at Danebod Højskole, then moved on to become a software developer and project manager at Voxelvision AS. After that, they worked as a self-employed software developer at Akurator before becoming a contractor for Schlumberger Information Solutions and Weatherford Petroleum Consultants AS. In 2000, they took on the role of software developer at Soundscape Studios. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as a researcher and lecturer at NTNU, then became an associate professor in 2010. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Head of Software Development and Co-founder at Nomono.

Sigurd Saue began their educational journey in 1984 when they enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) to pursue a M.Sc. in Acoustics. In 1987, they began a Cand.mag. in Music at the same university, and completed it in 1989. In 1996, they returned to NTNU to pursue a Ph.D. in Sonification, though they did not complete the program.
