Pedro Silva

Pedro Silva has a long and varied work experience in the IT field. Pedro began their career in 1999 as an IT Technician Trainee at APDL, where they gained experience in network management, hardware/software troubleshooting and configuration, MS Access relational databases, and Visual Basic 6 development. In 2003, they moved to Radio Popular, Electrodomésticos S.A. as an IT Technician. In 2005, they joined IdeiaBiba as a Tech Lead & Events Coordinator, where they were responsible for events coordination in 21 countries, technology development and management, business software development, and staff recruitment and training. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João as an IT Manager & Developer, where they managed projects using Scrum/Waterfall, provided software training and maintenance, created and managed backlogs, monitored KPIs, analyzed data, and implemented and updated Quality ISO 9001:2008/2015. Since 2019, they have been working at Nonius as a Strategic Business Unit Director & Senior Product Owner.

Pedro Silva attended ISPGAYA from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a degree in IT Management, focusing on software development and management. Prior to that, they attended APDL from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a Computer Technician Level III degree, also focusing on software development and management.
