Bruce Spining

Proposals Manager, Business Development at Nonprofit HR

Bruce Spining spearheads the proposal writing process to ensure high quality and responsive proposals. He works closely with client service leadership and the business development team to write comprehensive proposals in response to organic business opportunities and RFPs. He is responsible for interpreting customer requirements and working with multiple stakeholders to write persuasive, clear, concise and compliant responses to identified requirements.

Bruce joined Nonprofit HR after working as a Manager of Business Development Communications for Korn Ferry International. In that role, he supported proposal writing and development for Korn Ferry’s talent management and leadership development practices globally. Before that, he was a Marketing and Program Design Consultant with Lore International Institute, a leadership and talent development firm.

He earned his All But Dissertation (ABD) degree in American Studies from the University of Utah and his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Bruce enjoys hiking, backpacking, cross-county skiing and traveling throughout the southwestern U.S. to visit archaeological and cultural sites across the region.
