Kate is a passionate and results-driven HR professional who strives to serve as a trusted strategic partner for organizational leadership by leveraging thoughtful HR expertise to support strategy, cultivate relationships, mitigate risks and ensure operational excellence across the HR function. Kate delivers high-quality human resources support to clients by leveraging proven best practices and seeking relevant, strategic, creative, and innovative HR solutions that align with the organization and business needs.

Before joining Nonprofit HR, Kate spent several years as an HR Business Partner for a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), where she provided hands-on HR support and consultation to small businesses across Colorado. She has served in HR roles with two Fortune 500 companies and has over 7 years of multi-industry HR experience. Kate is specialized in employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, learning & development, compliance and risk management, and benefits administration.

Kate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from Kansas State University. Kate is a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society for Human Resource Management and also holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification through HRCI. She is an active member of the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) organization.
