Gilda Bettencourt

Gilda Bettencourt has an extensive background in outreach and donor relations, currently serving in this role at Nonviolent Peaceforce since July 2016, following over a decade in various positions at the same organization from January 2004 to July 2015. Notably, Gilda initiated and cultivated a significant relationship with Humanity United, resulting in substantial funding for NP's initiatives in South Sudan. Previous roles at Nonviolent Peaceforce included responsibilities related to major gifts, donor cultivation, and oversight of communications. Prior to this, Gilda worked as an Executive Assistant at ICEP, where bilingual office management and event organization was key. Gilda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed core curriculum studies at City College of San Francisco.
