Andon Cowie

Andon Cowie is an experienced talent acquisition leader with a proven track record in building and scaling recruitment teams across various technology companies. Currently serving as the Head of Talent at Nooks since May 2025, Cowie previously held the position of Head of Global Recruiting at Grammarly from January 2019 to March 2024, where a global team was expanded from under 200 to 1200 members, with the recruiting team growing from 5 to over 50. Prior to Grammarly, Cowie was the Head of Engineering Recruiting at Dropbox from August 2013 to December 2018, where leadership was provided to a team focused on enhancing the company's engineering capabilities. Earlier experiences include serving as an Engineering Recruiting/Sourcing Account Manager at Google and as a Software Engineering Recruiter at Aerotek. Cowie holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from California State University-Sacramento, earned in January 2006.
