Mark Orrow-Whiting

Mark Orrow-Whiting is Director of Curriculum and Student Performance.

Mark joined Nord Anglia Education in 2011 from the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency where he was Senior National Policy Adviser, playing a leading role in developments in the English National Curriculum. He was responsible for the primary and early years curriculum introduced into England, and worked with a thousand co-development schools for the implementation.

Mark has extensive international experience at both policy and school levels. He has worked on curriculum in countries as diverse as China, the Maldives and in the European Union and he was also the Vice Principal of a school in Cameroon. A science teacher by background, Mark has also led as Head of Science in London schools, teaching A-level Physics and science more generally.
