William Murray

William Murray has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. William started their career at NorDan UK Ltd in 2014 as an Operations Director, where they were responsible for tender submission, procurement, supplier management, logistics, and after-sale oversight. Prior to that, they worked as a Commercial Manager at the same company, focusing on reviewing the commercial aspects of tender and contract opportunities in London and the south-east of England.

Before joining NorDan UK Ltd, Murray served as the Managing Director at Janex Ltd from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they were responsible for the daily running of the business, development of long-term strategies, and implementation and monitoring to ensure future growth and profits. William also held the position of UK Operations Manager at Janex Ltd from 2008 to 2011, overseeing all daily operational activities throughout the UK. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Janex Ltd from 2003 to 2008, where they managed high-profile, high-risk projects for existing and new key accounts throughout the UK, with a focus on the overall quality of service.

Throughout their career, Murray has demonstrated skills in tender and contract management, procurement, supplier management, logistics, and after-sales service. William also has experience in strategic planning, resource management, sales performance evaluation, commercial decision making, operational and financial overviews, and developing key relationships and partnerships. Murray has a strong track record of improving processes, reducing errors, and increasing profits through the implementation of new procedures and strategies.

William Murray attended The Open University from 2003 to 2007, where they studied Information & Communication Technologies. Before that, from 1986 to 1990, they attended Forth Valley College. Additionally, in 1985 and 1986, they attended Glasgow College of Building & Printing. In August 2017, they obtained a Microsoft Project Masterclass Completion Certificate from The Knowledge Academy.
